RETURN AND REFUND POLICY RETURNS & REFUNDS – FASHION

As we are an exclusive Boutique it is important to note that we import minimal quantities of each item to ensure exclusivity for all our clients. If you purchase from us we guarantee that you will not hop into somebody with the same piece any day soon!

Cash refunds are allowed should you notify us within the first 48 hours of delivery. Should your return be accepted (meeting our criteria below) please arrange for collection of your return and delivery to our Middelburg store. The cost for the return is for the client. Once a return is received by us, we will assess the product and provide an exchange or return as required.

To be eligible for a return, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your return at admin@zelat.co.za.

  • To qualify for a return or refund your item must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • All tags are still in place exactly as you received them.
  • The item must be returned to our store within 7 days of contacting us regarding the return.
  • Please provide a receipt of proof of purchase (in-store purchase).

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Should your return be accepted, we can also issue a gift voucher for your purchase which can be used at a later stage on any product within our range.

SALE ITEMS – FASHION

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Sale items may only be exchanged for other items that are part of the sale, during the same sale period within 48 hours of purchasing.

EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item in a different size, please send us an email at admin@zelat.co.za, within 48 hours in order for us to assist you.

LEATHER RETURNS

No cash refunds on any leather items, only exchanges are allowed (if it meets the criteria as explained below). As we make use of 100% natural raw leather, it is important to understand that no hide ever looks the same. The difference in colour and texture of the leather is what makes our bags so unique. Markings in the leather are also 100% normal, this is what gives your bag the perfect look when ageing. We will not accept any returns for differences in colour, texture or markings on the bags, as these are normal and totally unavoidable when handling the bag. Defects in the zip and fittings should be communicated to us within 48 hours of receiving your item. In such a case, we will exchange your item. The product should be in the original packaging and condition as received to qualify for an exchange.

SALE ITEMS – LEATHER

No cash refunds on any leather items, only exchanges are allowed (please refer to the criteria above). As a sale item may be the last item of a specific product, exchanges can be done or we can issue a cash voucher for the value of your item, which can be used for any product or item within our collection.

SHIPPING

Please note that we make use of The Courier Guy as our main shipping company.

We do not accept special requests related to the shipment of items at different prices with different couriers. We are situated in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Parcels shipped to Mpumalanga and Gauteng are delivered within 3 working days. Parcels to any other province within our country usually take up to 5 working days. Please take into account any riots or flooding in our country, as this may seriously affect your shipment timeframe.
